Ashton and Peek collaborated with Corporate Communications to produce a TVC for the Department of Health’s flu campaign. Maggie Manrique produced while Daniel shot and directed video and stills over a two day shoot. Gaffer Marcus Knott lit and Alexandra Edwards styled makeup and hair.

Red Decker Photo Shoot

Red Decker Company commissioned Ashton and Peek to photograph a morning on Hobart’s red decker bus. Daniel shot stills for the 2018 brochure and tour book, as well as to capture a day in the life of the Red Decker Company.

With students from React drama school, production designer Maggie Manrique, makeup artist Alexandra Edwards, and drama coach Andrew Casey, Daniel shot and edited the project with creative director, Nathaniel Hiller.

Wanting to offer Airbnb host’s a low budget, but high quality stills package, Ashton and Peek tailored a shoot that captured the best elements of each property. Producing 12 essential stills per project, Ashton and Peek are excited to offer the shoot as an ongoing service.

Starting in 2015, The Australian Art Orchestra has commissioned Daniel to shoot and edit performances and workshops across the country. Recent projects include OzAsia Adelaide, Water Pushes Sand, and the Creative Music Intensive.

SUSTAINABLE LIVING TASMANIA

To launch their annual festival, Sustainable Living Tasmania commissioned Daniel to write an ad that imagined a sustainable future. Angus lensed the commercial, shooting over two evenings at Signal Hill in southern Tasmania with students from Cooper Screen Academy.

UNIVERSITY OF TASMANIA

Collaborating with agency Before Creative, Daniel and Angus shot a series of ads for 2018 enrolment intake for UTAS. Tasked with cutting together a collage of their own footage, news stock and archival footage, Daniel and Angus created a series of fast, 15 second ads.

BLUNDSTONES TASMANIA

Daniel and writer/producer Adrian Smith (Corporate Coms) collaborated with makeup artist Maggie Manrique to create a comedy ad for Blundstones Tasmania. Casting local musicians, the shoot helped launch the 2017 Reclink Community Cup.

GIBLIN HALO FRESH CHINA

Angus and Daniel were approached by Giblin Halofresh China to shoot two digital campaigns for beef and produce export. The project took over a week to photograph, in twelve different locations across the state.

AUSTRALIAN CHILDHOOD FOUNDATION

Approached to help launch Hobart and Sydney fundraisers for childhood trauma, Daniel and Angus created four visually unique stories that expressed nostalgic visions of childhood. With costume and production designer Maggie Manrique, and students from Cooper Screen Academy, Daniel and Angus shot the 2 minute ad across four locations in southern Tasmania.

RACV BRIDAL

For their upcoming print campaign, RACV asked Daniel to photograph a bridal shoot at the Hobart Apartment Hotel. Daniel collaborated with stylists Ally Nichler and Alexandra Edwards, wardrobe stylist Maggie Manrique, and models Rosie and Julian.
